Description- The Gold Assessor Basslet, is entirely yellow with red outlining the fins. The Gold Assessor Basslet will not bother invertebrates making it an excellent choice for reef aquariums. For a single Gold Assessor Basslet, provide at least a 30 gallon tank - larger for more individuals, and plenty of rock caves for hiding(They are frequently seen hanging around in caves, overhangs and other shaded areas of the aquarium). Due to its aggression and being territorial, it is best to keep only one male Gold Assessor Basslet in a single aquarium.Quite often they will do this upside down or vertically. Feed a varied diet consisting of small chunks of meaty foods. These foods include krill, raw table shrimp, squid, clam and mussel. It is also a good idea to occasionally supplement with some type of herbivore diet. Prefers to eat a couple of times a day.

Description- The Macneill's Assessor Basslet, is entirely dusky dark blue. Description- The Banded Longfin Basslet have an elongated, dark body with prominent vertical lines. The dorsal fin extends the entire length of the body and is highlighted in red.They are a carnivorous species that feed on small crustaceans and zooplankton in the wild. Caution must be used when adding them to an aquarium with small ornamental invertebrates like Sexy Shrimp or Pom Pom Crabs.Only house one of this species per aquarium, unless the aquarium is very large, and they are acclimated at the same time.

Description- The Marine Betta is not commonly kept in a reef-style aquarium, but it is reported to be safe with corals and anemones, however, it will eat all small fish and shrimp.The Marine Betta requires lot of caves and stone formations among which the fish can hide and stalk the prey. Since it is more active during night, it prefers to stay in dimmed light tank. The Marine Betta is not a very good swimmer and needs calm areas without much water movement, and is also shy in nature and needs lot of caves to hide when needed. When first introduced into the aquarium, live saltwater feeder shrimp should be used to entice this fish to eat. Using live foods such as feeder fish or shrimp will help it adjust. Once acclimated, it can be fed meaty foods and frozen preparations 2-4 times weekly.
Description- The Royal Gramma Basslet has a bright purple to violet colored anterior contrasted by a vibrant yellow posterior.Since it demonstrates territorial aggression towards its own kind, the Royal Gramma Basslet should be housed singly. However, most Royal Gramma Basslets are peaceful towards tankmates of similar size and temperament. For the best care, keep the Royal Gramma Basslet in reef systems of at least 30 gallons. Description- The Black Cap Basslet is a brilliant purple body and jet-black diagonal cap. Since it demonstrates territorial aggression towards its own kind, the Black Cap Basslet should be housed singly. Usually the Black Cap Basslet is only a threat to the smaller invertebrates such as Copepods, Isopods, or Amphipods. Black Cap Basslets will do well on a diet of meaty foods including marine fish, crustacean flesh, mysis shrimp, and quality frozen preparations.
